My name is Mel Cronin, and I would love to be your Celebrant!
I am a fully qualified Wedding and Family Celebrant and an ordained OneSpirit interfaith minister. I have always been passionate about celebrating all the good that life has to offer. I am a positive person with a naturally sunny disposition, I choose - each day - to see the joy in all the small moments. And there is nothing small about the key moments in family life! From baby naming to vow renewals, there is so much to celebrate.
In addition to legal weddings, I also carry out Baby Naming/Blessing, Vow Renewals, Funerals, Memorial Services and Spiritual Counselling.
Before qualifying as a celebrant I have worked as a tour guide, a personal development facilitator (both children and adults), a life coach and a yoga teacher. I love to help others reach and achieve their personal potential. With my background of working both one-to-one and in large group settings, becoming a celebrant has been a natural progression.
When not helping craft magical moments for my clients, I can be found practising yoga, reading, enjoying time with friends and family, and playing with my grandkids.

As a OneSpirit minister, I am able to perform the legal aspect of your wedding, freeing you from the need to have a separate ceremony at the registry office.
The lucky few are confident in telling and retelling the magic story of their romance, but most people have no idea how special and wondrous their own love story truly is. In asking the right questions, and listening carefully, I am able to tease out what makes you the special couple that you are. That’s my job. My privilege as your celebrant is to share your true love story with your most treasured guests through my authentic gifts as a natural storyteller.

Coming into this with no experience in wedding or baby naming ceremonies we found Mel to be very enthusiastic, engaging, knowledgeable and full of ideas and just an all round warm and genuine person. She really made the ceremony planning as easy as possible throughout the calls and emails without ever putting any pressure on us. She even went so far as sourcing lovely candles, jars and coloured sand for the ceremonies when we couldn’t get them, such is the dedication and attention to detail Mel brings.
